Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!

December 2014

Pavlos introducing Theodore to the cold in Iowa!
Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!

Things we are thankful for especially during this past month:
  • Our healthy son Theodore and the joy he brings to us all
  • Our family in Iowa who once again lets us stay with them, made arrangements so that we can have a car while we are here, and has been eager to babysit Theodore
  • The people who offered to lend us some of their baby toys and equipment which if we had bought we wouldn’t be able to bring back to Greece
  • Our accountant and immigration attorney who have been helping us close some loose ends and finalize the green card application, first step before returning to Greece
  • Our new friend, pastor Don, who is investing time in us by mentoring and connecting us with various church plants in Des Moines, IA and the surrounding areas
  • The young couples who invited us to join in their weekly Bible study focusing not only on studying and understanding the Word, but also making it relevant and applying it
  • Our friends, family, and Greek Bible College colleagues back in Greece, who let us know that they miss us as much as we miss them
  • The individuals, families, and churches that have been faithfully supporting us with their prayers and financial contributions. We have met with some of you but there are still many to go, so if you want, feel free to contact us before we do :)

"I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ... that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
- Ephesians 3:14, 16-19

Please Pray:
  • For safe travels during our December trip to our mission’s office in Texas. There we will get to connect with our home team and also meet with the new bunch of CTENers getting ready to Go!
  • For the friends and supporters we are going to meet and/or stay with on the way, for the time spent together to be mutually encouraging
  • For the time we’re spending with church planters in the area to be educational and beneficial
  • For the students and the staff back at the GrBC as they are finishing the winter semester
  • And most of all, please pray with us and for us the prayer from the epistle to the Ephesians included above!
